Have you ever been best friends with a pink azalea? I have. My best friend is a little pink berry, an absolute ray of sunshine. It’s so important to have such pure friendships in your life, to surround yourself with positive people while at the same time emanating positivity.
Let me tell you about Sarah. Every time I see her she starts grinning ear-to-ear. She’s the kind of friend who you could sit and talk to about random shit for hours, or sit in silence and be perfectly comfortable. She tries her best every single day to spread happiness and help her friends and her boyfriend. If she cares about it, she cares 110% and nobody can stop her.
The very first day we met, Sarah was nothing but kind and giggly and I knew we were gonna be best friends. One of my favourite memories is one sunny day when we bussed down to Judkins after school and sat beneath the willow. The rays were coming through the leaves and the vine-like branches were rustling with the breeze. And there we were, sitting on a small, ivy-covered log. We spent the day taking pictures and looking at all the dogs coming through the park. And that’s what it’s like whenever you’re around Sarah.
She’s so supportive and excited for life, and I think that she brings out characteristics like this in the people around her. Do you ever look at your best friend and think, “Wow! That’s my best friend! Look at them! Go bestfriend!” because that’s how I feel all the time.
Here’s a short list of things that describe Sarah:
I support this girl so hard in everything she’s passionate about and just want what’s best for her. Sarah gives and gives, and tries so hard, and she deserves the world. She doesn’t want drama, only dogs. She inspires me to see the world through rose-coloured glasses. What a soft sunshine girl.
I hope that everyone can meet someone who is such a positive, bright force in their life. I love my best friend.
